Modal windows take the application's own background colour instead of the shade reserved for dropdowns and popups. In Solid mode the settings dialogs had been coming out in two colours — the frame in one, the body in another.

The gift-code box in the account view is a text field like any other: click to place the caret where you clicked, drag to select, type. It looked like a field before and behaved like a picture.
