Privacy Policy
mylittlechart is designed with privacy first. We believe your data belongs to you.
What We Collect
Account data: When you sign in with GitHub, Google, Discord, X, or Telegram, we store that provider's account ID and your display name. For GitHub, Google, and Discord, we also store the email address attached to the account; X and Telegram logins don't share an email with us, so we don't store one for those.
Sync data: chart layouts, presets, watchlists, and settings you enable for Cloud Sync are end-to-end encrypted on your device with your own vault passphrase before they reach our server. We store only the resulting ciphertext and have no ability to decrypt it.
Direct messages sent between accounts are stored as ciphertext only — we cannot read their content.
Telemetry (opt-in): When enabled, we collect anonymous usage data to improve the application:
- A random device ID (not linked to your identity)
- Application version and platform (Windows/macOS/Linux)
- Session uptime
That's it. No browsing history, no trading data readable by us.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to maintain your login session:
- session_id — A secure, HttpOnly cookie set when you log in via OAuth (GitHub, Discord, Google, X/Twitter, or Telegram). It expires after 24 hours and is used solely to keep you authenticated. We do not use this cookie for tracking or advertising.
We do not use any third-party cookies, tracking cookies, or analytics cookies.
What We Don't Collect
- No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies
- No tracking pixels or analytics scripts
- No readable trading data, positions, or balances
- No API keys or credentials
Where Data Is Stored
All your trading data, chart layouts, presets, watchlists, and settings are stored locally on your device by default.
If you enable Cloud Sync, an end-to-end encrypted copy of this data is stored on our server (mylittlechart.org). It is encrypted with your vault passphrase before it leaves your device, and we have no ability to decrypt it.
Telemetry data, when enabled, is sent to our server (mylittlechart.org) and stored in aggregate form without any personally identifiable information.
Account Deletion
Deleting your account removes your synced data, API keys, and sessions from our servers permanently. This cannot be undone. Local data on your own devices is not affected.
Third-Party Services
We use Cloudflare for CDN and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may process connection metadata (IP addresses) according to their own privacy policy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking service.
